When to test
It is vital that drug/alcohol testing in any organisation is undertaken as part of the company’s wider Health & Safety policy and education and training should be provided to all staff to communicate the policy details.

Pre-Employment Screening
This can be used as part of the company’s selection process for job applicants. This makes a strong statement about the company’s attitude to alcohol and drug abuse from the very beginning.
Random Testing
This involves testing all or part of the workforce on a random basis. In order to tackle substance abuse proactively, we can put in place deterrents such as Random Testing. We would arrive unannounced and screen an indiscriminate selection of your employees.
With Cause Screening
Should unusual behaviour arouse suspicions of substance misuse, Randox Testing Services staff can arrive onsite and test the individual(s) concerned. This service is available 24/7, 365 days a year and complies fully with Chain of Custody regulations.
Post Accident
After an accident or a near miss, the employee(s) concerned would be screened to determine if alcohol or other substances may have contributed to the incident. A member of Randox staff would arrive onsite and test the individual(s) concerned. This service is available 24/7, 365 days a year and complies fully with Chain of Custody regulations.
